Target 120
Target group candidates are aged between 10-14 years who have had at least 2 interactions with WAPOL. The program’s objective is to reduce reoffending through working with the young person and often the extended family that they reside with. Target 120 work with the family to empower each member of the family and they work with mentors who advocate and support their interactions with many diverse agencies.
The families Target 120 work with often experience domestic violence, family domestic violence, racism, Elder abuse and they also face many challenges daily. Target 120 candidates are referred by WAPOL and most not have an open case with CPFS.
Services provided include:
- Court support.
- Letters of support.
- Centrelink applications.
- Referrals to mental health services including drug and alcohol counselling.
